El Rancho’s music program is one of our favorite electives because it really sets us apart from other schools in the Anaheim Hills area. The program offers students the ability to express and perfect their current musical talents, while allowing them to try new areas of music at the same time.
We offer our students beginning band, advanced orchestra, strings, guitar and percussion. That’s five options! (Many other school only offer two options, beginning and advanced.) And despite our move to remote learning, our music program at El Rancho has continued to run at full capacity. Our music teacher, Mrs. Olsen is determined to give our students a well-rounded music experience while also providing an outlet for students who need a break from school.
At El Rancho, we aim to build the whole child to be ready and prepared for the future. Whether a student’s interests lie in a musical career or academics, the growth of the whole child is always our priority.
