Let’s end the year on a high note – by talking about ASB (Associated Student Body). This class is available as an elective to seventh and eighth graders and is taught by Mrs. Ozuna. This class is application-based and is full of students who want to make El Rancho Charter School even better.
ASB is for students who love to be creative and enjoy working on a team. The students in this class create graphics that are used on our social media accounts and think of fun activities to get other El Rancho students involved on campus. ASB is a student-centered course that allows them to brainstorm and execute fun, interactive ideas with help from Mrs. Ozuna.
This course helps students improve their communication skills through brainstorming and coming up with ideas as a group. The students also plan events, which teaches them time management and budgeting skills.
So if you’re looking for one more factor to tip the scales in favor of El Rancho, ASB is it!
